About Us

Up Beat Music Therapy is an agency created in 2009 which currently provides music therapy services in Eastern Massachusetts and Metro West. We work with all ages, but specialize in working with adults, especially those who suffer from dementia. Several board certified independent contractors and occasional interns work with individual clients, and group music therapy sessions in programs and facilities ranging from Adult Day Health, to Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Facilities, to Hospitals. Services include recreative individual and group music therapy sessions, adaptive music lessons, and music appreciation classes. We also provide per diem services contributing to Memory Cafés, outreach programs for children and adults with autism and the deaf and blind, and inservice presentations. For more information, please contact the Director, Wendy Krueger, MT-BC at upbeatmusictherapy@gmail.com. *We apologize if you have tried contacting us at another email address and your email bounced back.
